To promote your business you need to get into the routine of bookmarking any new content that you create and distribute.
The Benefits of Social Bookmarking
1. Search Engine or Organic Traffic
If you look on a bookmark as a one-way backlink, we know that part of Googles algorithm is to count the number of backlinks to ess your Page Rank, and will probably help you get higher rankings on the search results page.
One thing that so called Gurus fail to tell you, (or dont know), is that some Social Bookmarking sites such as del.icio.us, operate a nofollow policy. There is a simple way to get over this to claim your Google Juice which I will explain later in this video.
Google and the other search engines send their robots to the Social Bookmarking sites many times a day, subsequently your new pages are likely to be indexed extremely fast.
2. Direct and Indirect Traffic
Many people use sites like digg and delicious as search engines in their own right, as they can find many links to blogs, videos and other content that is classified by user-generated tags, avoiding what Google decides to serve up.
Social Bookmarking sites cannot only be used to send traffic to your blog, but also to other content that you have submitted to other Web 2 platforms. For example YouTube and other video sharing sites, podcast directories, squidoo lenses, hubpages and many more.
Another important benefit to consider is that the visitors that arrive on your landing pages are highly targeted, as they find you from tags and keywords that you have selected, and content that you have created.
3. Relationship Building
Weve established that Social Bookmarking is a great way to announce your fresh content and make your content available to a wider audience, but probably the greatest benefit is that bookmarks (along with micro-blogs) can open the door to building relationships with your prospective clients.

I want to know what I'm entitled to as self employed, business starter?
I will be self employed as a professional bellydancer, teaching and performing.
I assume by "Tax" you mean income tax. Everyone is liable to pay income tax on their earnings and trading income. As a self-employed person you will pay tax on your taxable profit. This is your total income less any deductable expenses, such as rent, rates, bills, travel etc. that were incurred for business purposes.
VAT is Value Added Tax. This is a tax levied on all goods and services sold by registered businesses. If you are VAT registered you must charge VAT. Essentially this means you have to charge your customers and extra 15%. But you are able to claim back any VAT paid by you on your business related purchases.
Not all businesses have to register for VAT. You only have to if your annual turnover is, or is expected to be, above a threshold of about £68,000. As a start-up you are not in that position, so you don't need to worry about VAT just yet.

I just got my W2 in the mail and the federal income tax withheld box is blank. Does this mean I won't be getting anything back from them?
I have to assume, based upon the information provided, that your income did not require income tax to be withheld. Therefore, unless you are eligible for other credits, such as Earned Income Credit, you will unfortunately not be receiving a refund. Here is an IRS link re: EIC to see if you are eligible.
